In this series the artist is exploring meta-materiality and the beauty in waste so common as to be unseen by most. First generation product waste materials are re-imagined and recycled into contemporary representations of items we routinely discard without a second thought. This playful series asks us to see the world through fresh eyes and to think about our use of limited resources.

Lovingly sculpted portraits of crushed cans are cast in recycled aluminum. Each portrait is displayed on hand-formed, recycled polyethylene mounts.
